Biography[]
Amy Madison: 1993 - 2000[]
Amy was born in Canada. Her father was an abusive alcoholic, but her mother was more caring. Unknown to young Amy, while her father could be a nightmare come true, her mother was an actual monster — being afflicted with the curse of the kitsune.
As the daughter of a kitsune mother, Amy had the chance of being born without the therianthropic curse of her mother. However, between her seventh and eighth birthdays, Amy showed signs of the curse taking hold. Her behavior and diet changed. She became more aggressive and began eating all the time - including food that had not interested her before.
When the night of the full moon happened, Amy experienced her first transformation. It was a painful experience that Amy would never forget. However, what happened after Amy's transformation was complete was not something she would remember as the beast inside her had taken full control. When Amy awoke, she was wrapped in a blanket and covered in blood in the back seat of her mother's car and en route to a new life.
Amy Madison: 2000 - 2005[]
Over the course of the next six years or so, Amy learned that she was a kitsune or a "werefox". She learned to "feed the beast" to allow her to keep a certain degree of control. When she matured to accept what she had to do to survive and consciously took a life to feed, Amy's mother finally told her that this was the second life she had taken — having killed her father during the night of her first transformation.
After this, there were no secrets between Amy and her mother. With an honest mother (even if the truth was brutal), Amy became less of a daughter and more of a young partner in survival. Provided she pulled her weight, Amy was free to live whatever kind of life she wanted.
Amy Madison: 2005 - 2007[]
Amy decided she wanted to go to school. She wanted to have real human friends. Though her mother warned her this was a mistake, Amy insisted that this is what she needed. After floating through a few towns and a couple of close calls. Amy and her mother thought they found a safe hunting ground in Charlton's Point, New Mexico.
But they were not as careful as they believed. They attracted the attention of a family of hunters. Without knowing the danger they were in, Amy met a boy named Sam. The two had a childhood romance and ended up kissing. However, Amy's mother recognized the smell of Sam's father on Sam, having had a close call with the hunter years before.
When Amy's mother attacked Sam without provocation, Amy protected Sam. In a furious rage-fueled battle between mother and daughter, Amy was the ultimate victor. Fearing his father would find out about Amy and kill her even after saving him, Sam ran away to Flagstaff, Arizona with Amy. The two tried to live on their own, but after two months, their differences became obvious to Amy, and she ditched Sam to go solo.
Amy Madison: 2007 - Present[]
On her own, Amy finished school and college before landing a job in Central City as a coroner working for the local Medical Examiner's office.

- Children of Lilith: Amy is a fifth-generation Kitsune (a therianthrope with a fox spirit parasite). While Amy does try to co-exist peacefully with humans and avoid hunters, she does prey upon humans occasionally.[1]

- Therianthrope Physiology: Amy is a kitsune. As a kitsune, her powers wax and wane during the lunar cycle (being at their most potent the closer it is to the full moon and at their weakest near the new moon).
- Enhanced Reflexes: Kitsune are known for their incredible reflexes. Amy can react to stimuli in her environment at inhuman speeds.
- Enhanced Senses: Amy has incredibly acute senses of sight smell, and hearing even outside her transformed state. Amy can see part of the infrared spectrum and detect the heat signatures of objects or people in total darkness. She can smell other living creatures within a mile (when upwind) and follow a scent regardless of terrain. Amy can hear the sound of a heartbeat within 100 feet in a quiet environment.
- Enhanced Strength: As a kitsune, Amy is stronger than she looks
- Immortality: Amy no longer physically ages, having reached to a level of prime physical maturity. Likewise, she is not affected by common diseases or ailments associated with aging.
- Regenerative Healing: Amy regenerates from injury rapidly. She can even recover lost limbs or removed organs within a day of rest.
- Supernatural Senses: As a kitsune, Amy is a supernatural creature and able to perceive ghosts and astral beings without much effort.
- Werefox Transformation: While this transformation is usually mandatory on the nights before and after a full moon, as well as the night of, Amy has practiced a means of ritualistic self-control which allows her to transform at any time, including during the daylight hours. She has found a way to keep herself from transforming during most full moons.
- Enhanced Resiliency: Kitsune cannot be harmed by conventional weapons. Only a silver bullet or magic can pierce Amy's flesh.
- Enhanced Running Speed: Kitsune are incredibly fast with great reflexes and agility. Amy can run at around 90 MPH for hours on end without exertion. She can move much faster in shorter bursts of speed.
- Magic Fangs and Claws: Kitsune claws and teeth can rend just about anything: fabric, wood, cinder block, and even steel - given enough time.
- Forensic Investigator: Though she lacks any actual forensic training, Amy is a skilled forensic medical examiner - having studied the subject intently and having observed her employer.
- Intelligence: Amy is highly intelligent, having been an attentive student in school despite her unconventional transient lifestyle. Amy also has a great memory, enjoys puzzles, and displays a real love for knowledge.

- The Beast: Amy finds it difficult to resist "giving in to the beast" during full moons or when highly emotional.
- Transformation: Amy also can be left without supplies (or even clothing) after reverting to her human form.
- Vulnerability — Silver: Amy finds silver uncomfortable to touch and weapons made of it can pierce her flesh. Injuries caused by silver continue to hurt and heal incredibly slowly.
