Bonny Hoffman: 1995 - Present[]
The only known daughter of mob boss Vito Hoffman, leader of an organized crime outfit known to operate in the Lamb Valley area of Star City. Bonny was believed killed, with the rest of her family, during a family gathering which was attacked by the Hard Knocks gang in 2005. Bonny Hoffman was declared dead with the rest of her family despite no remains being found to indicate the girl was among the deceased.
Bonny turned up in Star City again in 2013, in the aftermath of Hell on Earth. She began revitalizing much of the real estate formerly owned by her father which had mostly sat unused for eight years due to actions undertaken by the Hoffman's family attorney which kept the holdings off the market.
Miss Hoffman does not appear to have any intent to follow in her family's legacy and has mostly only been seen living it up with her best friend Carmen Leno.
Research Notes[]
(Submitted by Operator)
I have done a little research into Miss Hoffman after having my interest piqued while reviewing the system generated entry. These are some highlights I found:
- Bonny receives a considerable amount of money from her own property, but buried deep in the financial records of one property I found she receives a rather generous monthly stipend from a "Requiem, Inc." — a rather enigmatic shell company which Radar has mentioned before with links to the Vatican.
- Looking into the attorney for the Hoffman family proved to have little success as the law firm's office has since closed down and the forwarding address is in Gotham City's East End, care of one "S. Kyle". What's the Hoffman family connection to Catwoman? I've asked Oracle to investigate this further. Low priority, though.
- Bonny's best friend, Carmen Leno, is a former adult film actress, however it appears as though her online videos have somehow been erased from the internet. Of course, Mr_Roboto37 volunteered to investigate this matter further.[1]
Threat Assessment[]
Resources[]
- Business Acumen: Bonny appears to know a good deal about how to run multiple businesses, or at least knows how to hire excellent managers. Her businesses have all been turning a considerable profit with a short turnaround time.
- Computer Programming: Intel suggests Bonny has considerable knowledge on how to operate, program, and possibly even hack computers. Where she learned this remains unknown.
- Marksmanship: Bonny has a registered firearm (one of two antique pistols believed to have once belonged to Vito Hoffman) and a permit. She has logged hours at a gun range. Her results suggest she is an excellent markswoman. It is likely that she keeps this weapon and trains in its use to prevent another attempt on her life by Danny Brickwell or the Hard Knocks gang.
- Self-Defense Training: Bonny has undergone some basic instruction in Krav Maga-style self-defense. The full degree of her training is unknown.
- Wealth: Having access to immense wealth and a steady supply of disposable income, Bonny is able to purchase properties on a whim, make use of a fleet of vehicles (including private aircraft), and hire security details to provide protection.
Weaknesses[]
- Hedonist: Bonny appears to have little ambition other than to spend her money on her own personal pleasure (and the pleasure of her best friend).

Trivia and Notes[]
Trivia[]
- Bonny Hoffman is actually a false identity used by the angel Suriel.[2]
- The relationship between her and Carmen is puzzling. The Network has found no indication of them having any contact prior to 2013.
- She's helping Carmen find stardom as a more traditional actress.
- She gave the second antique pistol to Carmen to solidify their friendship (and to give Carmen some protection from the Hard Knocks gang — due to Bonny's past with them).[3]
- She and Carmen are doing some kind of assassination work for Requiem.
- Due to a transitional period and change of management the two will answer to Jack Hardemeyer. It could mean Requiem has a connection to Heaven or Angels.[4]
- She and Carmen get drugs from Lucifer.[5]
Notes[]
- Her portrait is based on her New 52 appearance.
- In the comics she and Carmen were hitwoman known as "Body Doubles" working for Requiem, Inc. and enemies of the Resurrection Man.
- She's composited with Bonny Hoffman of the Body Doubles and the angel Suriel, both of them were adversaries to the Resurrection Man in the comics.
